Hate to say it but impeachment is a waste of time if we can’t convict.

Impeachment does not necessarily mean Obama will leave office. That is up to Congress. They may let him stay like they did the rapist Clinton.

Clinton was impeached, made not a bit of difference, did it.

You got it. The Dems in the Senate would never convict him.
He would stick his head up in the air and give a victory speech when it was over, like Clinton did.

Maybe so, but an Impeachment Hearing would essentially run out the clock on the FUBO Admin. and that would be a victory in and of itself. Also, it might stop him from completely wearing out the two AF1’s before he’s gone!

That’s part of Congress’ problem: “trying is a waste of time if unsuccessful”. No, you do the right thing because that may prompt others to do the right thing; if not, you’re at least on record as having done the right thing. Impeachment may not remove him, but it does have an impact.

Yeah, and so many dem presidents are getting impeached these days, its not even a stigma anymore...

I do think it would be remiss of the Congress not to impeach in this case...but I would not want a conviction at this point...Biden scares me more than the magic Won.

Here's my philosophy on the matter.

You do what is right, you do what you can, and you let the chips fall where they may.

I say, impeach the bastard and let the pathetic Senate save the hapless, miserable, piteous, pitiable, pitiful, sorry excuse for an American President.

All that said, a Boehner congress doesn't have the stones to do it.

It makes a statement but in the end if we can’t remove him, nothing changes except another black mark for him in the history books.
