At a news conference Friday night, as the Prime Minister held together with Justice Minister Knut Storberget, Stoltenberg was clear that the attacks would not destroy the Norwegian democracy.
- We are all shaken by the evil that hit us so brutally and abruptly, says Stoltenberg.
Justice Minister Storberget confirms that the perpetrator is arrested after shooting at Utøya is Norwegian.
He did not want to go into details about the arrested. He also emphasized that he was not familiar with the threats before the attacks.

Wait? I thought this guy was supposed to be Muslim
Exactly how many people did this guy kill by himself in two different locations?
Nah it turned out that he was extremely anti islam, so instead of attacking the muslims in his country, he decided to do a hit job on the children of liberals.
I’m still waiting for an explanation why the friends of the global jihad claimed responsibility then changed their mind. Not to mention how one guy pulled off both a major bombing and went on a shooting spree elsewhere.
Anonymous said... fb profile and twitter are fake both start on 17th and only post on that day, he has no friends, and all photos look photoshopped
Work of the globalists.
The claim was made on some internet site by some nobody. If i made a claim like that online, some reporters and news agencies scouring the web would say that I did it etc..
I believe the incidents were 2 hours apart, he went to the island in a cop uniform saying that because of the bomb he needs to check on the security of the island. He proceeded to go on a shooting spree, and i guess was too much of a coward to take his own life or shoot at people with guns who might shoot back and surrendered when the cops arrived.
Problem is Norwwegian journalists are probably much like the ones in the US.
The Movement of Islamic Jihad (which became a part of al Qaeda later) issued both a warning prior to the bombing of TWA 800 and a claim of responsibility immediately after. Officials called the warning and subsequent claim “not credible” and the media stopped talking about it.
Look for the same thing to happen here.
All the trolls are crawling out of the woodwork for this one. It’s like an Islamist apologist convention in here tonight.
We have more sleepers here than we can imagine.
It’s amazing. You are both so right. That MadIsh32 person makes the most outlandish insane comments that make Fred Phelps look normal.
And some of them have been so obvious for so long, it’s hard to imagine what it takes to get banned anymore. And these aren’t noobs we’re talking about. The noobs (50+% of which are frauds) are a different matter entirely.
To: Hardraade Its not classified, yes I am Muslim. And probably more politically conservative then people could ever imagine, and based on the campaigns I worked on in my early 20s here in VA I have established my credentials in that sense also. 13 posted on Friday, October 15, 2010 1:14:18 PM by MadIsh32 (In order to be pro-market, sometimes you must be anti-big business) [ Post Reply | Private Reply | To 12 | View Replies | Report Abuse]
I knew it. The one that was killed was a double.
Well well.
How about this one?? I asked him is English was his native language because I doubted that. Naturally all the Muslims he knows are nice, harmless pacifists and humanists (whatever that is).

The Muslims I have as my neighbors are the nice ones.
Sufis and Alevis. In other words, navel-gazers and humanists, respectively.
Sufi Muslims are quite tolerable.....so much so that other Muslims really dont consider them to be Muslims (might have something do with their dancing, singing, and men and women praying together). That, and if you read up on their religious philosophy, youll see strong elements of neo-Platonism, Hinduism (except for the fact they eat beef), and certain elements of Christianity. Hell, around here, the Sufis even say, Frohliche Weinachten to you. Merry Christmas, in English.
Alevis are pacifist humanists. Shias to be specific. They reject all forms of violence, even in self-defense. Kinda like Ghandi.
Its not so much a rosy view...its just the Muslims Ive encountered are the genuinely decent ones. If all Muslims were like them, the world (especially the Islamic world) would be a far better place.
That guy is going to make a good dhimmi.
Nothing like putting the noose around your own neck. Unless he’s a ROP member too.
A couple of hours after your post, the total stands at 87 with 80 being kids on the island who were shot. It strains the ability to believe, doesn’t it. It also makes me sick and very sad.
HollyB posted an interesting link and a bit of info on this thread:

An obscure group called Ansar al-Jihad al-Alami (Assistants of the Global Jihad) posted a message on an Islamist bulletin board called Smukh and may have uploaded a video to YouTube weeks ago several days ago in which they predicted the attack.
Ansar al-Jihads Abu Sulayman al-Nasir allegedly posted a message claiming responsibility for the Oslo attacks on the Arabic-language jihadist forum Shamikh. According to a partial translation by terrorism expert Will McCants of Jihadica, al-Nasir claims the attacks were in retribution for the occupation of Afghanistan by foreign troops and unnamed insults to the Muslim prophet Muhammad. Al-Nasir also threatens further attacks:
