You must not be familiar with the new Directional Drilling methods we are currently using. Logging is provided in the MWD (Measurement While Drilling) Gamma/Resistivity program. It has eliminated most forms of wire line logging.

The costs have come down dramatically because of it.

My son, who just finished his Masters degree work in geology, told me about some of the new techniques used to find reservoirs that they missed in the old days. A lot of it was over my head, but he said that new techniques are being used in the Permian Basin.
