I may be a rare Conservative in that I wouldn’t mind seeing taxes raised a bit if they would cut spending. However, they WON’T, so...I’m totally against raising taxes. They can’t be trusted with more money (assuming revenues would go up).
As far as cutting “corporate loopholes” I’m all in favor of. The overall rate should be cut, and ALL loopholes should be ended. Cut the rate to 17% or so, and ALL companies pay that.
Cut all the damn subsidies too....
I would like to see a flat tax- 10% acros the board and EVERYONE PAYS IT.
Government workers should not pay taxes. They are paid out of tax money so that is stupid- just pay them less (a LOT less)
Yes poor people too- they use roads and bridges too (and MORE government services than everyone else)
LET THE GOVERNMENT FIGURE OUT HOW TO LIVE WITH ONLY 10%
