I have been volunteering for campaigns for several years. We are getting fewer and fewer volunteers. It is getting harder and harder to get good candidates to run for office because of attitudes like yours. If they are going to run, they need support, both financially and with your volunteer hours. They also need your vote. Changing to Independent or Decline to State discourages the good candidates from running. Don't blame “The Party” when you are not doing your share.
Once we get them elected, you should hold their feet to the fire by faxing, e-mailing and calling their office with your opinions and complaints.
