Could Rick Perry Surprise in New Hampshire?
Real Clear Politics ^ | July 8, 2011 | Scott Conroy

...With Perry's history of straddling the establishment and tea party wings of the party, [Andrew] Hemingway [chairman of the New Hampshire Republican Liberty Caucus, told RCP] offered a bold prediction for the unique assets that the Texas governor could bring to the table in New Hampshire. "I think ultimately Rick Perry is a candidate who secures Haley Barbour's money with Sarah Palin's endorsement," he said.

High risk genital papillomavirus infections are not spread vertically
Dillner J.1, *, 2; Andersson-Ellström A.3; Hagmar B.4; Schiller J.5
Reviews in Medical Virology, Volume 9, Number 1, March 1999 , pp. 23-29(7)
Abstract: ... The conclusions arrived at can be summarised as:
(1) There is overwhelming epidemiological evidence that
the only quantitatively important mode of transmission of infection
with oncogenic genital HPV types is sexual.

(2) There is also evidence that benign genital HPV types
can be transmitted sexually, but the epidemiological data
on the benign virus types are less extensive and less clear.
(3) Perinatal HPV transmission is unequivocally demonstrated
only for the rare disease juvenile respiratory papillomatosis.

who was very obviously of the Caucasian race, with fair skin, blue eyes, and, at a younger age, light brown hair.

Rino Perry is no conservative.

Let's see - pro-life, pro-marriage, pro-10th Amendment, fiscal conservative (balanced state budget with cuts, not taxes), pro-2nd Amendment... He may not be perfect, and there are issues on which I disagree with him (which is true of all of the candidates), but I don't think you can say he is not conservative. He may not be the PERFECT conservative you seek - but then, no one will be, not even Sarah.

Third, given that YOU support someone who in the past supported RomneyCARE, ObamaCARE, or MANDATED-DRUGS-by-government, is it not quite ironic that you project and call anyone else 'pissant'.

Ummm - not to get in the middle of your hissy-fit, but the poster to whom he is referring used the screen name "pissant". He is not calling names, just using the screen name the poster gave himself.

The fact that you don't know that makes me wonder how long you have been around here. It really casts doubts on your credibility.

You really like RINO Perry and his mandated-Gardisil?

or do you like his OPEN BORDERs?

or perhaps his Rove-controlled derivation when
he was Rove-selected from the DNC?

org.whodat is correct.

Having a hard time warming up to Perry. Don't trust the man. Too many accounts from Texans, who know him best, about his governing from the left, his support for big gubmint initiatives, his lack of enthusiasm for securing the borders, the vaccine...

No: Palin/Cain/Bachmann.

I haven't made up my mind about most of the candidates. Ron Paul, John Huntsman and Mitt Romney are non-starters for me. I like Sarah, but she is not running, and I don't think she could win in the general. I like Bachmann, but she has no executive experience. I like Cain, but he has no political experience. Pawlenty is a little too bland, and McCotter is unknown and has no executive experience. Perry has a good track record in office overall, but has made some questionable choices. So while there are some that I would definitely rule out, none of the others have inspired me enough to get on their bandwagon. All have flaws, so for me it is a process of deciding who I think is the closest to my principles, that I think has a shot at beating Obama, and whose flaws are not disqualifying.

I must say that your rabid opposition to Perry actually make me more interested. In my experience, that kind of vitrio is usually only expressed when a candidate is a real threat to the poster's preferred candidate. Since you won't say who your candidate is, but you have apparently expressed a preference for Huntsman and Romney over Perry, I must say you make me lean more toward Perry than I might otherwise...

Any poll numbers to back this article up, or just more sunshine-pumping for Mitt's stalking horse?

Nevermind. Read the article and answered my own question:

"...Perry currently sits in the single digits in New Hampshire polls..."

Rotsa ruck, Rick.

Meanwhile, in the real world, Perry can (and probably will) peel off just enough votes from Bachmann to keep her from closing on Romney in New Hampshire.

Perry will not erode support for Mittens - anywhere. Only from conservatives with much more national appeal. The beltway hacks have done their delegate math, and come to the conclusion that Romney will not win without a stalking horse. He's being used the same way Huckabee was in 2008 to compartmentalize the southern evangelical voting bloc. A Perry run = Romney/Perry 2012.

When you describe Perry as a “RINO” you imply that Sarah Palin lied when she stated that he “walks the walk of a true conservative”.

Rush Limbaugh and Sarah Palin seem to admire Rick Perry very much. I’d say you’re in good company, ma’am.

No. The liar was Gardasil-Perry who kept from the
Texan people his relationship to Merck.

Just like he keeps his relationship to Rove and Romney
secret, too.

NO RINOS.

Conservative Gov. Palin

or

the RINO panderer, Rove-plant,
Enforcer-of-Gardasil-for-Merck,
and Open-Border RINO Perry.

Easy. NO SALE AT FR for the RINO Perry

NHers can be a pain in the ass, but the fake cowboy thing just doesn't go very far here.

Strictly speaking on the cowboy image, it's real. He's born and bred ranch Texas.

Wow, I'm glad you have cleared that up for us.

There are some incredibly asinine lies being spouted off here about Perry. Those who know better will come out and defend him.

I don't care if somebody doesn't support him. If they have issues with him, so be it, but be knowledgeable about the issues before these outright lies are spread. The people on here doing this have been called out on the lies, so they just result to name calling. It's gone from being amusing to sad.

We have learned a lot from FReepers who rebutted
the PerryBOTs.

Do you have something to say specifically to add to that?
