Thanks, chris. If there was something special about that duct tape, I am surprised the prosecution did NOT make more of it. Although, if the jurors did not believe there was even decomp in the trunk (according to one FR’s summary of the alternate juror that spoke), I’m not sure it would have made much difference. That seemed incontrovertable.
Nothing would have. They weren't about to hold Casey accountable for a capital crime.

I think that was the biggest problem the jury.The defence wanted an ignorant jury that could be easily led and that is what they sat.They seemed to ahve the same thought as I’ve seen voiced here that reasonable doubt equals no doubt which is not at all what that means.
