fine..you don’t like some outcomes....
Change our system to the european system or another system or the military trial system.
Whoever said our system was perfect? That it is not riddled with innocent convictions of guilty people? Yeah its flawed, yeah it is often corrupt..I understand only too well.
For now, as bad as it is often it is way better for the defendant—any defendant that has to go through our justice system—than the ones I mentioned above.
To complain about our justice system is not the answer. Making changes is the answer. The definitions and protections of our legal system are not “cliches”...they ARE our system.
Maybe you should ask Al Sharpton or Eric Holder who desperately DO want to change our system..I don’t think you will like their answers.
I’d like to change it, as many others would, but it is impossible, isn’t it. The status quo prevails. Even in small ways it is impossible to get through.
I barely avoided a penalty years ago when during jury selection I informed the court that I am not the defendant’s “peer”, as, truthfully, I wasn’t.
We’ll be assured in the coming days by the status quo defending MSM that such miscarriages of justice are rare and that is how the founders intended it, and so on, everything to keep the peasants, that is us, from grabbing their pitchforks.
