Allen West spoke at a Center for Security Policy event in New York City on the national security threats America faces, specifically in the Middle East.

Here is LTC Rep. West riffing extemporaneously off of a single page outline on national security vis-a-vis EVERY COUNTRY in the Mid-East. I don't recall hearing a single "uh". It is an uninterrupted stream of rational thought, objective fact and common sense. Be sure to watch at the 20:45 mark where he criticizes the ENTIRE field of "Republican" candidates and laments that NOT ONE of them has ANY understanding of the Mid-East dynamics he just spoke about.
If he decides to run, I will vote for him over ANY other Republican candidate, including Sarah. He would crush Obama in any debate, and he would lead this country where it needs to go. He has vision, integrity, intelligence, experience, common sense, and a gift for leadership. I can see why any soldier would follow him "into hell with a gasoline can". He can win, and he can be a great president.
We need to convince him to run.
I couldn’t agree more. Lisening to West is such a pleasure compared to idiot Obama. West knows historical facts off the top of his head that just amazes me. He may not be the “perfect” candidate, but he sure is close!

He had an excellent answer for that though. Based directly on his superb understanding of the nature of our constitutional republic. His depth of knowledge is backed by exceptional clarity of mind and loyalty to first principles.
