I just emailed the “writer”. This has NOTHING to do with “assault weapons”. I particularly like how (as we all know) we’re talking about semi-auto variants, yet the “author” felt it was necessary to define what “true” assault weapons are. Oh yeah, and lets throw in “AK-47” for no reason, just to get everybody’s blood pressure up because it’s a really scary firearm. Typical anti-gun hit piece.
Oh, and Mr. Sheriff? If you’d do your damn job, the people wouldn’t have to be out there trying to catch the criminals. So check your little anti-gun attitude at the door and start catching the bad guys, like you were hired to do.
