WASHINGTON — The top elected Mormon in the Democratic Party says the country is not ready for fellow Mormon Mitt Romney as the Republicans’ presidential nominee.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid told reporters on Tuesday that Romney “doesn’t know who he is.”
As one example, Reid said Romney supported gay marriage when he was governor of Massachusetts but now opposes it. In fact, Romney did not support gay marriage but did say during his 1994 Senate race that he would be stronger on gay rights than his opponent, Sen. Edward M. Kennedy.

Well someone should ask reed what that makes his Dear Leader? His feeling on the subject is still "evolving", although he used to be for it, and then changed his mind during the campaign and now he is changing his mind again to become for it just in time for the next campaign!

Romney knows exactly what he is — someone that will say or do anything to get elected.
I have no problem with that either. But the hypocrisy is astounding.
Reid is being critical of Romney for being soft on the very same issue on which Dear Reader has recently been soft. And according to Reid, "if someone isn’t confident in his beliefs, he shouldn’t be running for president." Didn't Reid support Kerry also? Now that was a man who was/is not confident in his beliefs.

It’s pretty bad for a GOP candidate when a big Liberal Democrat is right in their criticism of that GOP candidate, and when most informed people in the GOP know it.

Reid has no place to talk....their whole religion flip-flops according to how they are perceived....changing their beliefs is their mantra so why wouldn’t their members also be comfortable fip-flopping. He knows that. This is just a political stunt by Reid.
