CLIMATE CHANGE? Where my house is was once an ancient ocean. They found an ancient coral reef here locally. The climate is always changing somewhat, and was millions of years before man was created here. The earth has volcanoes, quakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, etc. The earth is always changing. But it isn’t caused by people.
This was in the paper here yesterday about the coral reefs they found here....
The Damon Mound fossil coral reef will highlight fossils found on the highest point in Brazoria County, Pollan said.
The Damon Mound is one you can actually see, Miles said. You can see where the road goes upwards because of it.
The Damon Caprock, where the coral reef was found, is one of four caprocks at surface level in the world, Pollan said.
And when we toured Catalina Island, Calif. the guide said the island is moving, about an inch a year, I think he said moving north. That could cause the micro climate there to change a bit and it is NOT man made change.
PS Summers are HOT, Winters are COLD!
You're going to need a government grant and a 5 year study before you can make a wild statement like that :^)
