I wonder if this testimony would even be admissible in court, because she wouldnt be subject to any cross examination by the defense. I think so-called "dying declarations" are often admissable in court, even though "hearsay" is not.

I think so-called "dying declarations" are often admissable in court, even though "hearsay" is not. The reason dying declarations are often admissible is that the dying person is presumed to not have a reason to lie. A scorned woman desiring revenge has a motive to lie.
