Even if it’s inadmissible directly, the prosecution can take the info gained from it, investigate/follow up on it and introduce the info then obtained/learned against him.

That’s pretty much the situation. Dying declaration is for situations where the person is about to die suddenly. She knew well in advance she was dying.
