LIBERTY COUNTY, Texas -- Dozens of bodies have been found in a mass grave in Liberty County, officials said Tuesday.

The Liberty County Sheriff's Office said 25 to 30 bodies were buried at the intersection of County Roads 2049 and 2048 between Hardin and Daisetta.

The bodies are those of children, according to preliminary reports.

The FBI was called in to assist the investigation.

stealing jobs from Americans, Wage Busting by working for next to nothing...

Guess you haven’t tried to hire one of em recently. other than in the back street shadows day labor, they no longer work at 1/2 rate.

I have asked contractors why use them if they are no longer cheap, and they are preferred because they SHOW UP and WORK HARD, unlike our spoiled generation of kids, white and black.

The problems we see are not because of Juan finishing concrete, its the whole family that followed him here and who do not provide a service and do suck up our freebies and the cover those extended families give the lowlifes who do not work and who are the criminals.

If there was a sound and logical guest worker program, we would not have all the problems and would be getting to work done.

So you think they are greedy for escaping dirt poverty and being willing to do the jobs you won’t do. We created a major part of the vacuum by assuming “American’s” deserve to be middle class, not dirty working class. As long as there are paying jobs up here and not down there, no amount of Border Enforcement will stop em.

Head in the sand will not fix anything.

You and the people who think like you are the reason we have Illegal Aliens in the U.S... You have not heard of CHAIN MIGRATION... Each and every illegal granted citizenship can sponsor their entire family -— to the tune of 100 million Hispanics from Central America over 50 years - thus Swamping the 300 million Americans who were born here... You want the entire USA to become Central American North...? You frickin idiot....

The problem of illegal aliens is fixed - there is NO AMNESTY and there will be none... so the long term choice for Illegals is to GO HOME to where they and you amigo came from ...

I and the rest of the USA OWE nothing to Illegal Aliens... they can sit on the sidelines until they get tired of being here as second class ...

I did read what you wrote and what you wrote was a defense for the presence of illegal aliens - good workers and all that rot. So - if you are in favor of illegal aliens as millions more guest workers - then YOU pay for them directly out of your pocket.

And you have some way to insure you do not use any service that was performed by illegals?

Never defended illegals, my contention was we need certain services performed and our citizenry will not do this work. Now we either figure out some way to import workers to do these services or we do without many very basic things we, as Americans, find essential.

“I” do not want to clean fence rows or finish concrete or hang sheetrock, do you? If not then who? Some 20 something “gamer” who lives with Mommy or that sagpant brutha how doesn’t even get up until Noon?

I knew it - ILLEGAL ALIEN LOVER... there are plenty of people who will do the work you describe ... but they wish to live with their wife and kids in a single family dwelling as do most AMERICANS paid for by a living wage ... Mexican Illegals live five families in a single house pooling money... working for cash under the table... stealing SSN’s, violating every dwelling code in each city and county, driving unsafe uninspected cars... taking benefits...

American Citizens want to work for a living wage and as long as their are illegal aliens the wage will be driven down to a non living wage. Americans don’t want to adopt Central American living standards ... Turning Illegal Aliens into millions of legal Guest Workers in NOT THE ANSWER... We have many Guest Worker programs and they have not failed — We do not need any more...

Sending Mexicans and Central Americans home - by CUTTING OFF THE JOBS is the answer and that is what is happening state after state... ATTRITION ...will rid us of this plague.

I am having the roof done on my home and will specifically require - Social Security numbers to run through E-verify... and I will tell the contractor if he/she brings an illegal alien onto the property they will be reported and sued by me for transferring liability on to my property.

Well, sorry to have to resort to this, but you are no more than a jerk with some illogical axe to grind and unable to understand simple sentences.

So you think the only service you receive is from roofers? Get real fool! Every bit of food you buy or eat out or road you drive on or church you go in or store you shop at are all in some way are using or used immigrant labor, legal or illegal.

Am betting you have no idea of how or where you would run E-verify on any SS number. Just BS talk!

Some people are absolutely impossible to converse with on even a rudimentary level. Idiots must be breeding like rats.

No Idiots like you advocate special treatment for Illegal Aliens who break into the USA ... Face it you are an Illegal Alien supporter ... Deal with it - you want illegal aliens to become FULL AMERICAN CITIZENS... by FIAT... Ten to ONE you are an HISPANIC who just cannot get over your long lost cousin who cannot become a US Citizen AUTOMATICALLY - even though he / she is a LAW BREAKER...

Am seeing more and more transplants bragin about Texas who really show their ass at every opportunity. You claim to be be from Kentucky, but you act a whole lot more like your from Nuevo York.

Toby Keith has a great line in his song, “put a boot in your ass”, which we native Texans really like to practice down here.

Before you get invited to step out back, lets say Adios Amigo.

The Bible states people have free will,

Cite?

"Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave to sin. - Jesus Christ (Jn 8:34)
"Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts." - St Paul (Rom 6:12-13)

To say one has free will is to call Jesus Christ a liar, and to categorically reject Romans 6-7.

There is evil because the carnal man loves his sin and only desires to engage in even more sin (Romans 1)

I assume you are not Catholic as it is part of our religion teachings. The Protestants movement under Luther and Calvin rejected the Catholic church and the original teachings on free will.

“I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Choose life, then, that you and your descendants may live, by loving the LORD, your God, heeding his voice, and holding fast to him.” Deuteronomy 30:19-20

Not only is each individual free to choose, he is obliged to choose.

“Because I called and you refused, I extended my hand and no one took notice” Proverbs 1:24

Yes, God calls us but we can refuse. He invites us but does not compel us.

You are correct, I am not RC, I am a Christian.

I agree that Rome has no problems with teachings that are fully contradictory to the Scriptures because Rome has Holy Tradition as the Bible's antithesis.

The Scriptures teach that the natural man hates God, hates righteousness, loves his Sin, doesn't seek after God, considers the Gospel as foolishness and couldn't understand the Bible prior to regeneration anyway. So if Rome says "Free Will" then Rome must deny the fallen nature of man, must say that man doesn't need the Paraclete to open his eyes, and that the natural man doesn't need a new heart to respond to the Gospel. These are not debatable elements within Christianity, being that Rome has denied them simply is further reminder that Roman Catholicism is Roman Catholicism, not Christianity.

Now that you have revealed your interpretation template and allegiances, I apologize for taking you to task on this matter.

One last thing, you did honor the conversation by offering your evidence for Free Will, and it would be impolite to ignore the attempt.
“I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Choose life, then, that you and your descendants may live, by loving the LORD, your God, heeding his voice, and holding fast to him.” Deuteronomy 30:19-20

I don't think you really want to use this passage.

First off, is this challenge true for everyone or just for the Israelites? Given the context of this passage, it is unarguably only for the Israelites entering the Land.

Second, what the Choice? Was the Choice eternal life with God merely by recognizing Jesus Christ as each man's personal savior for all sin? The answer is clearly No. It wasn't an individual choice, it was a group choice, it was a choice between corporate blessings and cursings regarding the quality of their lives in the land of Canaan not about eternal salvation.

Third, what was the result of their choice? Clearly they began in rebellion by not even following the fundamental religious rite of circumcision as none of the males were circumcised, a sin that was remedied at the spot by Joshua to all men prior to entering the land. Even though the people lied and said that they would follow God so that they could enjoy the material and temporal benefits to obedience to the Law, within a generation they were already back in full rebellion to God and rejected His laws and commandments.

In summary, the Challenge was given to a particular nation, not to individuals, it was about obeying the law in exchange for comfort and convenience in Canann rather than dieing to self and living for Christ and the gift of eternal life in Heaven, and ultimately while agreeing to the contract they rebelled and earned the cursings while those who are saved by Jesus Christ have assurances that they will not fall. I understand that Rome has a "sin" clause such as salvation is not by Grace alone but by Grace and Works, whereas there is a performance benchmark that must be attained before God considers the Catholic good enough to be allowed into Heaven without remedial obedience lessons in Purgatory - which incidentally even if true, doesn't find an analog here in Joshua's Challenge to the Hebrews.

I guess the bottom line is - there is absolutely no comparison between Deuteronomy 30:19-20 and Election to Salvation through Jesus Christ. There is no comparison between this passage and Rome's path to salvation through the Church and her Traditions. No matter your theology, there is no comparison and thus no way to make this passage a Free Will proof text.

Even if one is obstinate and still claims, despite the challenge posted here, that the passage does support Free Will, when they could win the lottery or be shoved in ovens and their destiny is purely upon acceptance of observing religious rituals, though the obvious choice was lottery, and they said "lottery" their will to sin was greater than their "choice" of obedience and thus they earned ovens - a process that was repeated each and every time they had the opportunity to make that choice. Right up until God said "It is Finished" and did away with the Temple system in 70 AD and the resurrection of His Son.

Ahh... you got that backwards from a historical point of view.

Before there was any Protestent, Episcopalian, New Age, Born Again, etc Christian; there was the Catholic religion.

These sects or off shoots of Christianity are modern interpretations of a 2,000 year old religion.

To claim Catholicism is 'not Christianity' simply shows you don't know history. If anything, your beliefs are the 'antithesis' of the true historical bible as you chose to follow a new one. A bible that was created because a murderous English king could not get a divorce from Rome so he created a whole new religion.

As an American, you are free to believe what you wish, but to denigrate other religions is not nice. Now, I have no problem with your belief system, its your life, but don't go around pompously labeling different regions as you will get a snoot full of history to contradict you.

That trick might work on your easily deceived and ignorant friends, but to anyone with a background in church history, particularly education in medieval theology, I find the statement insulting.

I'm glad that you take pride in your bondage to Rome, if that is what makes you happy and content, peace be to you.

You know as well as I do that there is no fruit in the ecumenical debates since we both don't have the same foundation. I start with Sola Scriptura, Rome makes constant ad hoc emendations to fit the times, sentiments and culture to incorporate their various syncretisms to existing religious ideas. Because of that, there is no common ground for discussion - unlike CrEvo threads, we don't work with the same evidence and generate results based on differing interpretational templates. Rome cobbles up new doctrine and teachings as the conditions of the moment dictate and cover it under the umbrella of Holy Tradition, and its total folly to suggest that there is one mind, one unalterable doctrine throughout the millennia within the family of Rome.

If your religion requires you to make silly exclusive claims to things not in evidence, and that is what keeps you throwing coins in their hopper, then more power to you.

Again, I apologize for questioning your Free Will position, if that is what Rome teaches, then it must be so for the god(s) that Rome worships. I don't want to make the mistake of telling you what your religion should teach.
