Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin may have purchased a nearly 8,000-square foot home in north Scottsdale, according to a report by the Arizona Republic.
Rumors that Palin was set to buy an Arizona home have been circulating for months.
A recent all-cash deal to purchase a home in the ritzy Phoenix sububurb "might fit the bill," the Republic reported Saturday.

EXCERPT:
Confirmation of a Palin house purchase in Scottsdale likely would rekindle chatter about whether Palin might run a political campaign out of Arizona, the home state of U.S. Sen. John McCain, who plucked her from relative political obscurity in 2008 to be his vice-presidential running mate.
Palin has been rumored to be considering headquartering her 2012 White House campaign, if there is one, in Scottsdale. She also has been mentioned as a possible candidate for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by the retiring Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz.
Palin has made multiple visits to Arizona since the night in November 2008 when, at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa, McCain conceded the presidential election to Democratic rival Barack Obama. Palins daughter, former Dancing With the Stars celebrity finalist Bristol Palin, last year purchased a five-bedroom house in Maricopa.
Palins name started coming up in Arizona in March, when state Rep. Steve Farley, D-Tucson, repeated a rumor of a possible Palin bid for the U.S. Senate in his weekly newsletter to constituents. Farley told The Republic at the time that he heard the rumor from two Republican lobbyists whom he declined to name. The same week, a Politico blogger quoted an anonymous source as saying Palin might base a potential presidential campaign in Scottsdale.
The Arizona Democratic Partys website asked, Is Sarah Palin moving to Arizona? and used the rumors to try to raise money.
The speculation was enough for Public Policy Polling, a Democratic company based in North Carolina, to include some questions about Palin in its most recent automated telephone survey of Arizona voters. One question asked respondents whether they would like for Palin to move to Arizona. Fifty-seven percent said no. Another 27 percent said they would like her to relocate to the state, while 16 percent were not sure.
The poll of 623 Arizona voters was conducted April 28 to May 1 and had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.9 percentage points.
Maybe she’s thinking of Senator (John Kyle’s seat) or even Governor which, as an active AZ Republican leader, I would be thrilled. But as some here know, I do not support her for President.
RE: But as some here know, I do not support her for President.
May we know your reasons why?
I hope she moves there, she has taken a real beating by the left and deserved something as beautiful as it sounds. Alaska has changed so much it is not worth her living there anymore.
This is relevant to who exactly?

Report: Sarah Palin to Base Campaign in Scottsdale |

03/09/2011 7:48:02 PM PST · by 2ndDivisionVet · 30 replies KSAZ-TV ^ | March 9, 2011SCOTTSDALE - Members of Sarah Palin's camp are considering basing her presidential campaign in Scottsdale, according to Politico.com. She hasn't yet decided whether she will run, but Politico reports that sources within her camp think Scottsdale is a top headquarters location. For one, Palin's daughter Bristol bought a home in Maricopa a few months ago. In the wake of the Tucson shootings, Palin was blasted for a "crosshairs map" she released during the 2010 election that marked Gabrielle Giffords in Tucson as a Democratic to vote out. Some critics connected that rhetoric to the shooting, later leading her to release... |
Great dessert in the desert
Amazing.
She just buys a house and we know more about that in a few hours than we know about barry in 2 1/2 years.
Some anonymous buyer buys a house in Arizona and these idiots attribute it to Palin. The buyer is UNKNOWN, could be anyone with lots of money but left wing fools(and some right wing fools)all over the internet are just sure that Palin bought it.
No way in heck she’s going to waste her time with a Senate run. She needs to toss her hat in the ring for POTUS (Which she’s considering). She hasn’t even hinted about a Senate run.
Also, there’s no way she’s going to run for the Senate considering the anal exam she received from the pukes in our MSM. She’s presidential material.
She would be neighbors with G.Gordon Liddy...he’s got a home in Scottsdale.
Don’t you unwashed know it’s Perfectly OKAY for The Won to have a million dollar home, but not Sarah. I mean, look at how Barry had to overcome the “mean streets of Chicago”, versus the “silver spoon, teacher’s daughter from, well, Somewhere out there in bitterclinger country??? /sarc
Maybe Sarah could have worked from chicago and rented the harrison bounel house.
Being in PHX now I am thrilled. When her campaign for POTUS starts she will be afforded secret service protection. This is a perfect home for that plus the folks who will be coming in and out as her campaign grows. Scottsdale is beautiful.
Alaskans have an affinity for Arizona and Hawaii...many Alaskans have homes both in AK and AZ so her moving here is not a stretch....and it doesn’t have anything to do with that jerk McCain. Alaska in the summer...Arizona in the winter...what could be nicer weather wise?
RE: Dont you unwashed know its Perfectly OKAY for The Won to have a million dollar home, but not Sarah.
With the way property prices are heading in Arizona ( Scottsdale included ), I don’t even think Sarah Palin spent close to 1 Million to buy her home ( if she even did ).
She just buys a house and we know more about that in a few hours than we know about barry in 2 1/2 years.
What is really amazing is that you, and many others, actually think she bought this house. An unknown buyer bought it, this article, and the similar ones that were posted on FR yesterday, is sheer speculation based on the fact that she said she might base her campaign headquarters in Scottsdale.
It is unbelievable how many people take a story that is a guess and turn it into fact.
How many houses are the Palins going to buy in Arizona? 3-4?

A few months ago the lunatics of the left were saying that Bristol purchased a house in AZ. Did anyone ever find out if she actually did?
