I am so sorry to learn of his passing. He was very special to me!!!!!
He will always be missed.
He was a big, important part of our FReepathon crew and we continued to ping him.
We wondered where he was and now we know.

My heartfelt condolences to the family. Free Republic has lost a dear FRiend.
I first remember Gitmo in 2006. He signed up here to help those of us who were working to help Diana Irey unseat Congressman John Murtha.
Gitmo was profoundly serious about defeating Murtha, and lo and behold, one day he proved beyond any doubt to all of us that he meant it!!!!
