The solution has to be a state law worded to the effect that will.permit self-defense. OR a lesser solution would be for the state to start requiring EXTRAORDINARY measures by police before they instigate a search. I think the first solution is better.

It doesn’t matter if the other stats are incomplete. It would tell us more than this one stat. We have no way to know if this unusual or not.

500 illegals crossing the border in one night is not unusual if there are thousands crossing every month, right? Do we have complete stats on the number of illegals crossing every year? Nope, but we can estimate it and that will tell us what is unusual activity.
