“It was the longest 40 minutes of my life,”
“Well, actually 64 minutes because of the 24 minutes when everything was blacked out and we couldn’t see what was going on”
To: Justaham
Just how long are the media going to use this 60 minutes interview...that no one obviously cared to watch; to milk Obama’s campaign 2012?
To: Steel Wolf
Did Valerie Jarrett actually go get him on the golf course?
Who let her in on the picture?
I'm just wondering - not looking to pick a fight :)

Yep. Time goes by slowwwwly when you’re wondering if you’re going to make your next tee time or not.

I have no idea if it was VJ, or if he was dragged ear-first off the golf course, making three-stooges OWOWOW noises the whole way.
I'm just trying to imagine how awesomely epic our President was last Sunday, in single-handedly defeating al-Qa'ida, breast cancer and the giant planet-killer meteor that was hurtling towards the Earth.

I’m sure that was a long 40 minutes for zero. It started when they told him to hurry up his putt and ended with him getting a ride in the cheap seats on that helo back to the White House, where he was pretty much presented with a fait accompli.

"It was the longest 40 minutes of my life..." I call bullshit. The longest 40-minutes of his life was probably some time when the teleprompter failed.

Looks sort of like “bring your kid to work” day.
I think the longest forty minutes of Obama’s life would be his time at Harvard.

I thought his career in the U.S. Senate before starting his campaign for President was the longest 40 minutes in Zero’s life?

If Obama was worried about anything, it was how he would personally be affected if the attack failed. Like Bubba and Hillary, everything is about him As I just said on another thread, there would've been little risk, militarily, politically, or otherwise if the attack failed. This is the beauty of most covert missions--they can be denied. If the helo crashed--the spinsters would have some breath-taking story ready. If the compound was booby-trapped and SEALS were maimed or killed--they would have no hard identification. If Osama wasn't there--so what, just another unsuccessful snoop mission.
Not to say that a loss of the lives of one or more of our brave soldiers is trivial...it's not. But our special forces are keenly aware of the risks they take, and those risks are far greater than the risk the POTUS had riding on this mission.
