FLASH: White House says it is still being decided whether a photo of bin Laden death will be released.
Wouldn’t surprise me. And what is that photo worth anyway, the subject being damaged to that extent? It’s an interesting call. I’m not desperate to see it.

I’ve noticed Panetta is not on same reservation as Obama. Besides what you posted, he also is clear that the orders were to kill while other officials have said otherwise. Either they are all playing a disinfo/psy-ops game or there is a big rift.

Let’s look at what we really have ...
1) The twitter entries from someone nearby who witnessed that something was happening there.
2) Pictures of a downed chopper in the complex.
3) Pictures of Paki soldiers sitting around the complex.
Anything else that can be verified that’s not from the lips of our administration?
At this point, after saying they were going to release Bin Laden’s picture, to not do so would create the conspiracy murmurings that the birth certificate issue did. If they were gutsy at all, they’d do it immediately.
The idea that it would create a retribution sentiment is wrong. Right now, in the terrorist community, there is a feeling that it may take them some time, but if I do this thing, they will be coming for me. They got him eventually, and they’ll get me. There’ll be no nuclear detonation, they’re not nearly that sofisticated. Any small acts of retributionm uf there is any, will be just that, small. This group blew everything they had on the World Trade Center attacks.
Consider that they had no weapons. They used our airplanes as weapons. The went after one spectacular splash by killing a lot of people with an engineered plot to gain attention. The did not use anything they created or engineered. They stole all the implements necessary to pull off 9/11, including the training of how to fly the planes they stole. They were a bunch of misfits seeking glory by doing something devastating to an unsuspecting people peacefully persuing their lives. Evil like this can well up for periods in history, but they have never prevailed for long. It’s like hyenas nipping at the heels of an elephant until they get his attention.
