It is painfully obvious that the equine-pudendum-shaped nose he was born with has undergone pleasing revisions over the past year or so. In the right light, he almost looks humanoid now!
Can you not imagine the remarkable bravery it took to bring that thing to a plastic surgeon? He shares the alma mater ... Cornell ... with Keith Olbermann of the Ag School. Again to give Maher credit where it is due, he does look somwhat less sexually ambiguous than Olbermann, and often brags of his success with women in limousines.
In the wonderful world of the Left, to have failed as a comedian is the apparently automatic entrée to an exciting new life as an intellectual.
HEY it’s the comments that upset the right that keeps Maher working...just ignore the buzzhead, and noone will listen to him anymore. Who watches that channel anyway? Isn’t Fox at top of list? Bill Maher’s number of shows are limited anyway, so stop promoting him and his remarks.
In show biz, negative or positive attention keeps them working!

The thing is, even with someone like Bill Maher there are some key critical issues where he truly “gets it”, way way more so , in fact, than many professed conservative christians:

And also, while he indeed admits to having a hate for all organized religion and spiritual doctrine, he does seem to have figured out that there is one religion, at least in terms of how it is taught and interpreted and practiced now, that eclipses all the others in terms the threat it poses to, well, basically everyone else.

Make that the hardcore 40 percent, and throw in many so-called “Independents” who think they are just at “brilliant” as Mr. Maher is. (As a matter of fact, all Liberals/Progressives/Democrats/Communists think they’re brilliant and part of an elite that is so much higher than the cattle conservatives.)
