Americas decision to support military action against the Ghadaffi regime in Libya was heavily influenced by Samantha Power, the Irish-born National Security Council special advisor to President Obama on human rights.
Power and UN Ambassador Susan Rice were named by The New York Times as the two key figures who convinced first Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and then President Obama to commit to force.
The Times reported that The change became possible, though, only after Mrs. Clinton joined Samantha Power, a senior aide at the National Security Council, and Susan Rice, Mr. Obamas ambassador to the United Nations, who had been pressing the case for military action, according to senior administration officials speaking only on condition of anonymity.

And here I thought we had amateurs making foreign policy.
Is she a U.S. citizen? Perhaps dual national? I can’t seem to find anything definitive.
She’s bad news for Israel...

As so often is said, “YOU CAN’T MAKE THIS STUFF UP”.
And we get accused of being racist when little subtleties like this are pointed out.....
Maybe should stop shaking head and asking, in awe, WTF?
It really is the alien occupation government...
Is that anything like a lesbian blogger?
Well, the Irish drive the snakes out of Libya, excuse me, Ireland, on St. Patrick`s Day.
Carpetmuncher, too?
She’s married to Obamaroid Cass Sunstein....
I'm thinking it may be identical. It can't be good, that's all I know for sure.
And I sure wouldn't take her advice on STARTING A MILITARY CAMPAIGN AGAINST A SOVEREIGN MUSLIM COUNTRY IN NORTH AFRICA WITHOUT THE CONSTITUTIONAL PERMISSION OF THE CONGRESS!
But that's just me.
I’ve told you before I think Cass Sunstein is the most dangerous man in America. And a lot of people will disagree with me because well, maybe I’m wrong. Or they just dismiss him as it’s academic. Really?
He’s Obama’s regulatory “czar.” He is the author of the book “Nudge.” “Nudge” is basically a book that looks at Americans as a bunch of lab rats. And he knows all the tricks and all the levers to make them behave the way he wants them to. Just a little nudge here and little nudge there.
Wait until Glenn Beck gets wind of this...
I guess Power no longer considers Clinton a monster.
How Obama adviser Samantha Power was forced to resign
An Edinburgh-based newspaper, the Scotsman, asked her for her reaction to the Clinton victory in the Ohio primary. "We f*ked up in Ohio," Power answered, candidly. "In Ohio, they are obsessed and Hillary [Clinton] is going to town on it, because she knows Ohio's the only place they can win. "She is a monster, too, that is off the record, she is stooping to anything," Power added.
