Simply appalling. Even with an older design, the reactors and containment systems have stood up to one of the most severe earthquakes in Japan's history AND to a near-record tsunami. The only apparent radiation leakage seems to be of nitrogen, with a half-life of seconds (for those in Rio Linda, that means it effectively becomes inert again in well under an hour).

Show us your degree in nuclear physics, Mr. Lieberman, or your Navy nuc certification. Or shut the hell up.
