When are those Germans going to man up and kick all of those people out of their country? I need a second country my kids can flee to if the US becomes intolerable.

I doubt the Germans will ever get rid of the guest workers because they don't want to have to do the unpleasant jobs themselves. It's much harder in Germany to become a citizen if you aren't of ethnic German background--if I'm not mistaken you have people born in Germany whose parents or grandparents came as guest workers but who are not German citizens.

I don't know how much German ancestry is enough--a lot of Americans have some German ancestry but mixed in with other ethnic groups. I had 3 great-great-grandparents who were immigrants from Germany--I don't know if that's enough (I know the exact place of birth of only one of them, but she's the ancestor from whom I get my mitochondrial DNA). In any case, if the Democrats totally destroy the US, I think I would prefer to live in another English-speaking country in preference to Germany.
