Fox news is a joke. Not much better than the rest of them.

Fox News broke the story, which ought to make one immediately suspicious Everything is political with the left. If we discover alien life and they turn out to be bad guys, I'm certain PZ Myers will start off his article with the observation that since they are bad aliens, they must be Fox News viewers.

I’ve been interested in science long enough to be skeptical of claims like this one. As usual, the media makes things worse.

Funny, I thought bacteria came from below, instead of above, like when those Siberian drillers went too deep and recorded human screams 14.4 kilometers into the earth..... ;^)

I remember a similar claim of "found bacteria in meteorites" (one from Mars I think?) was reported in the Clinton years by NASA. It was overhyped at the time.
Relatively good 15 yrs ago, Fox can't be trusted for much now although even then I mostly ignored the talking heads (Vanity, Mr. Loofa...) and stuck to their actual hour of news with Brit Hume. It's very disappointing that Fox doesn't have higher standards and the talking heads have gotten worse: more blatant, more distorted, more gossipy.
