[RINO Texas State Sen.] Deuell has been a proponent of a 10-cent increase in gasoline taxes for some time and said he would support a broader sales tax too. He also said the state should use "most" of the $9.4 billion Rainy Day Fund. Deuell defended his position as a conservative one, though he acknowledged that it's not the company line for a Republican. "...I would hate to make cuts this session and come back in two years and find out we didn't have to make those cuts," he said. "We're the 45th-lowest tax state," Deuell said. He said the cuts required by the current budget would be more damaging to the state than the tax increases he's talking about.

Most all owe their soul to the elitists. Winning back America seems to be a large dark hole.
What a brilliant idea in a world of $5.00/gallon gas this summer.
You good folks in TX ought to do whetever you can to help this boy to become unemployed the next election cycle.
Do we have anyone in his district to crash his little party?
I willl begin the search.
SURE! The taxpayers can ALWAYS make due with less but the government NEVER can!
I presume this assclown Deuell is being brushed off like dandruff by the rest of the Republicans?
We’re the 45th lowest state in taxes. If it wasn’t for rinos we’d be 50th.
This guy needs to be defeated in the next primary!
Someone on an earlier thread said that taxpayers should unionize and STRIKE.
Sounds better with every thread I read, tonight.
It’s an atrocity. TX should be number 50 in taxes!
Delta, Hopkins, Hunt, Rockwall, Kaufman, Fannin, Rains, and Van Zandt counties
Primary challenges should be mandatory for all Republicans who talk this way.
File this in the “Some RINO’s will NEVER learn” drawer...
Dear Rep. Dimwit: I understand there are airplanes leaving Austin for various places in California, New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts on a daily basis. Feel free to take one to one of those places where folks think more like you. Do it soon. In fact, I’d be happy to buy you a ticket. One way only.
I am not generally in support of tax exemptions, I think the Tax code should be uniform with little to no exceptions.
But I also think government even State government could and should be a lot slimer. I don’t think there is anything so valuable in government that can’t be cut.
Lemme know if I can help......:)
but we’re a low-tax state and we’ve got people in need.”
THAT’S the problem. We’ve created a monster with free hand-outs to every Tom, Dick and Harry and now that push comes to shove and the cuts need to be made, everyone is bytchin’. Sit down you motard RINO and shut up! I just hope the Republicans don’t give this guy one second of attention but I ain’t holding my breath.
“Boys and girls, this is why electing socialist Republicans is hazardous to the health of the Republic.
Just say ‘NO!’ to non-conservatives!”
Hope he trips while coon hunting.
I'll let some family over that way know that he needs to go back to doing whatever he did before he lifted his skirt.
