Obama-Lite will not beat Obama....and I see the GOP doing the same things like they did in 2006 and 2008
And there's no reason to believe that 2012 will be any different. I do think Christie could beat him, though, because of his weight. This may sound bizarre, but I think we need a fat president. There are more overweight Americans than black Americans. And I think that, given the choice of voting for a black man or a portly man, overweight black people will take Christie. In this day, weight is a more deeply felt issue than race. We are beyond race prejudice, but there is still a strong prejudice against heavy people. I'm not even overweight, but I still feel for those who have waged a lifelong battle with the scale.
Dismiss my theory if you like, but I think it will take more than being on the right side of the issues to beat Obama.
