Birthers have been trying to get Republicans on board for 2 years...with no luck. And leading up to the last election, Republican candidates ran away from birtherism ...and racked up historic gains nationwide for conservatism. And virtually all of the current crop of presidential candidates are steering clear of birtherism.

So where on earth do you come up with the idea that Republicans becoming birthers will somehow magically transform into electoral success? Does it involve Farah pixie dust?

Considering most of those races were state and local....and not national in scope....dissing Birthers was virtually non-existent

As the Birther Eligibility question continues to grow in interest and support....it is not a good idea for GOP on a national level to diss a signifigant part of the base. 2006 and 2008 were perfect examples of the GOP dissing their base....and 2012 is going that route, I am afraid

Judging by your post, you seem to be an Obama supporter and not a Birther. The “Farah pixie dust” comment obviuously means you are a Liberal RINO. You are no conservative my friend...and would probably still vote GOP if they decided to hook up with Al-Qaeda.

Yes right. That's why 'CON' is part of his handle.

Sorry to discombobulate your world view, but I voted for the Alaskan Babe, in spite of the “get off my lawn guy” at the top of the ticket. But at the same time, I know birtherism doesn't help advance conservatism.

What's going on in Wisconsin is the model for destroying the very core of failed liberal ideals. The Public sector union contracts have falsely inflated support for the democrat party for decades. This is the battle worth fighting. Not unproven, unsubstantiated internet rumors promoted by the less than truthful Joey “Art Bell” Farah.

Convince the Heritage Foundation or Landmark Legal Foundation that there is a "constitutional crisis" and you'll start to sway conservatives like me...until then...I'll follow the Scott Walker playbook.
