Excellent point! CBS sent one of their foreign correspondents to cover a major news story. It happened to be her. It’s not like she was Rachel Corrie who went over there as a private citizen to stir up trouble. Ms. Logan was doing her job. Her politics have nothing to do with this. She should have our support, prayers, and well wishes.

What do you suppose would happen if CBS had said “We’re sending a man, Lara; it’s just too risky for a woman” Can you say sex discrimination lawsuit? For all we know, CBS may have preferred to send a man, but felt its hands were tied.
