Sarah, say it ain't so …
World Net Daily ^ | February 12, 2011 | Joseph Farah

Until very recently, I was a big Sarah Palin supporter.

I don't mean she was my first or second choice to be president.

But I really liked the gal.

I thought she was a straight shooter.

I liked her style.

I didn't think she pulled any punches.

While sometimes lacking crystal clarity on the issues, she had the right instincts, I thought.

But now I wonder.

What prompted this change of heart?

Some recent comments suggest she really doesn't comprehend how close we are to losing the culture war for the hearts and minds of Americans, particularly on the issue of how radical homosexual activism threatens the very fabric of our society.

Because she's considering running for President and needs act Presidential. Responding like a talk show host would isn't Presidential.

Do you think Reagan would have responded the way she did?

We know Bush didn't, choosing to be "presidential" and not respond to such attacks.

All this matters in regard to electability.

Neither President Reagan nor G W Bush were ever accused of conspiring to murder while private citizens. Her answer to her accusers was controlled, thoughtful, and professional. You continue to use less than accurate words and phrases to lambaste Palin with rather than dealing with reason and truth.

If conservatives buy in to the deceit of the Left and repeat it, then our cause is lost. This is not about her electability; it's about truth, reason and upholding those values when others are determined to destroy them.

Whatever you say.

We can go round and round until Obama finds his Birth Certificate, but we cannot agree on Governor Palin’s intentions at the time.

I'm sure we can agree that the next 21 months will be very interesting indeed.

I’m glad to see you have such gifted insight into the inner workings of the Palin family. By your logic, every married female politician is a feminist.

What makes you think they aren't?

Bush was accused of orchestrating 9/1l and criminal torture tactics.

Like it or not, when a politician starts engaging critics in a flame war, the politician, even if he or she didn't start it, is viewed poorly by a large percentage of the public.

Are you telling me that she allowed Democrats to run her out of office?

Of course they are a minority. Or, more specifically, they are in the minority. There used to be laws agaist sodomy. For better or worse those have been repealed. There is no question but that a fervent segment of practicing homosexuals actively pursue the moral disintegration of culture. There is a major political party with the same objective.
Have conservatives become so disdainful of those with whom they disagree that we are willing to become vengeful and contemptible just like democrats and homosexuals? Are we unwilling to stand toe to toe and give as good as we get? Where, precisely is the backbone of a freedom loving people who can tell their antagonists they are not deserving of debate?
Sarah is speaking with a voice that was heard at the founding of our government. Have we become deaf to our founding fathers and the principles upon which we were established? I thought that was what we were demanding.

Bush was president then, not a private citizen. And again, I ask that you recognize Palin for what she is. Although she has held political office, she did so as a citizen who believes she can solve the problems created by politicians.

Maybe that's the crux of the difficulty. Those who hate her keep thinking of her as one of those despised politicians -- the kind of people she ran against and helped put in jail. She thinks of herself as a hockey mom and a momma grizzly bear.

Her foolish pandering to the homosexual agenda of late has moved her from a candidate I was enthusiastic about to someone I don't trust but haven't written off completely yet.

Smart move, Mrs. Palin.

What brain-dead comment. She is being questioned from the right for her apparently support of GOProud and her failure to stand against a repeal of DADT.

The second part is what really irked me. When DADT was the issue of the week, Palin was AWOL. She needed to be out there standing up for traditional values. Her silence spoke volumes to me.

GoProud is destroying CPAC as it is being used to destroy Sarah Palin. What this tells me is GoProud is a Trojan House designed to wreck havoc.

Agreed. And our so-called leaders are either too dumb to realize it, or too cowardly to stand up to them.

Republicans should not alienate the majority of their base just to accommodate the 2% sodomites. That's just not a good strategy.

In fact, if the GOP was smart, they could turn this issue into a major win, given that large swaths of the Democrat party (Blacks and Hispanics in particular) want nothing to do with the butt-sex agenda. This is why homo marriage goes down in flames whenever people are allowed to vote on it--because Blacks and Hispanics won't have it. Could you imagine what the electoral map would look like if the Republicans carried 50% of the Hispanic vote, and 20% of the Black vote?

Homosexuality is mostly an upper-class White thing. The trouble is, most of our media, academia, and government is run by upper-class Whites. Hence, the disproportionate power of homosexuals.

“I believe that Cain, Palin and Bachmann all spoke at CPAC this year. Is that the kiss of death for each of them? They are dead to you?”

Palin did not speak at CPAC this year or the previous three.

I did not say that anyone was “dead to me.”

“I’m not looking for perfection. I see quite a few good Conservatives out there. Sarah is one of them.”

I’m going to presume that this crap about her supporting the radical agenda for the legitimization of same-sex attraction disorder is buncombe, and stick with my previous position: there is only one good conservative out there, and that is Governor Palin.

The others, as far as I can tell, are rat-bastard, compromise-with-Evil-at-the-drop-of-a-used-condom, treacherous scum.

“Palin borrowed a 4 wheeler, rode out a mud bog trail, covered with mud in her good clothes when she got there.”

Wow! That just about takes her out of the “politician” category for me! That’s what Gen. George Patton did when a jeep got stuck. I agree with you that she’s real (I read her first book”) and instinctively right as Reagan.

Excellent article Joseph Farrah! While I’ve had my suspicions about Sarah Palin fighting on the side of God and decency for sometime now (her “I have gay friends” comment during the Katie CouYUCK interview set off alarms), her recent CBN interview confirmed my fears.

I’ve spent many an hour defending Sarah Palin against the PATHETIC Left, no more. While she is a decent woman, it’s obvious she is a “Christian Libertarian” who doesn’t think government has a role in legislating moral behavior.

May God have mercy on your soul Sarah Palin for selling Him out and the great constitutional republic He blessed us with.
