MANSFIELD Some Students at Mansfield, Texas ISD schools could soon be learning Arabic as a required language. The school district wants students at select schools to take Arabic language and culture classes as part of a federally funded grant. The Foreign Language Assistance Program (FLAP) grant was awarded to Mansfield ISD last summer by the U.S. Department of Education.
As part of the five-year $1.3 Million grant, Arabic classes would be mandatory at Cross Timbers Intermediate School and Kenneth Davis Elementary School. The program would also be optional for students at T. A. Howard Middle School and Summit High School. Parents at Cross Timbers say they were caught off-guard by the program, and were surprised the district only told them about it in a meeting Monday night between parents and Mansfield ISD Superintendent Bob Morrison.
The DOE has identified Arabic as a language of the future. But parent Joseph Balson was frustrated by the past. Why are we just now finding out about it? asked Balson. Its them (Mansfield ISD) applying for the grant, getting it approved and them now saying theyll go back and change it only when they were caught trying to implement this plan without parents knowing about it.
Trisha Savage thinks it will offer a well-rounded education. I think its a great opportunity that will open doors. We need to think globally and act locally.
De nada, Jefe.

Mandatory Arabic Classes Coming To Mansfield (Texas)

No shock here.
There is a reason that Oklahoma voters passed an initiative banning
Sharia Law in Oklahoma.
As I understand it, some cunning Islamics got an ordinance passed in
Richardson, TX that basically endorsed use of Sharia.
All I can say is “Stay the course, Oklahoma”.
No matter how much CAIR b-tches about the “intolerance of ‘Okies’”.
De nada, Jefe.
previous post included wrong Español phrase from my clipboard. Lo siento.
Kafekom kalaman bel Arabia ya hi wah naht!
Let’s think of this unemotionally.
Why Arabic? Well, we will very likely be going to war, and this will be a very major war - against the Muslims. This is a war not of our choosing; they have declared war against the civilized world - and nukes will very likely be used. So, having a generation that speaks the language of our enemy may be useful.
I’d also think Chinese would be useful for future endeavors. As Chinese is, and will likely continue to be a superpower - learning Chinese would be benefitial in dealing in international trade, laws, or technology exchanges. China is already quickly adopting English.
French? What reason is there for French? A pitiful little ex-superpower that is being overrun by Islam; a country that has backstabbed us at every opportunity - they are not a trade partner of significance, they have literally very little to offer aside from a tourist stop.
Spanish? And what, pray tell can we gain by emulating Mexico? Maybe handy if you need to tell someone how often to mow your lawn, or ordering a Burrito without sour cream - but the effort seems wasted.
We learn a langauge to benefit ourselves; not to make it easy for a ‘nobody’ to talk to us. It’s a rough world out there - so you can make yourself either upwardly mobile, or downwardly mobile. I’d suggest going with the upwardly mobile option.
Aside from any opinions on the teaching of Arabic language, I think we can all come together and agree that anyone who makes the above statement is a moron.
Maybe what they really mean is “Islam” the religion of the future.

I graduated from a Catholic High School in 1959. I was told by the pastor that Latin was the only foreign language I’d ever need to know. It was the only language option at that school. Later, in the military and as a civilian, it was discovered through testing, that I had a capacity for learning languages. Since then I had college courses in French, and was professionally trained in Hebrew and Spanish. Personally I’d like to study Arabic just for the intellectual exercise.
So, have the kids learn a little Arabic. Things like:
F*** you, infidel teacher!
Miss Williams, I can see your ankles. You are dressed like a whore.
Mr Principal, I will take your daughter out on a date, kiss her, rape her and behead her.
Women that have jobs outside the home are just prostitutes waiting for the chance to turn tricks. They need to stay at home and raise their husband’s children.
And of course,
SLAY THOSE WHO INSULT THE PROPHET!
Yup... similar deal here. When overseas I try to earn enough to know the gist of whats been said at least.
Good for self preservation and a heads up when your translator is giving away information instead of getting information!
Not a bad idea- if we don’t do something to control the colonization of America by the Muslims/s
I’m hoping that somehow, it will never happen-—however, if you look at it in another light, it wouldn’t hurt to have more people in this country able to translate Arabic—just so we can keep up with what they’re up to.
The languages of the future are:
English. Teach kids to speak and write it well. It is the language of the business world.
Hindi? India will become a very large economic player in the future.
Chinese.
Arabic? Beyond oil they have nothing of interest. When the huge world reserves start coming in they are going to have to figure out how to make falafel from Brent Light Crude.
The Saudis have figured out that their market is going to trend downward beginning in 2020. It could go bad very suddenly due to....let’s call it “customer relations issues”.
You can’t bring in the language of the muslims without also bringing the religion of the moon cult. That’s what this is all about folks. Dismantle the DOA we must overthrow the leftist yoke before it suffocates our children with this global-think devilitry.
Visits to mosques where they will be taught to pray to Allah, no doubt.
