Ain't that the truth. More apparent today than any time in memory!

I'm not a pre-, post-, or mid-trib rapture believer (just don't know), but right now is as good a time as any. That said, it's a good idea to stay ready!

And many of their demonstration signs are in English. Go figure!

That REALLY bothers me.

Not saying it is right, but the journalists are openly supporting the anti-govt mobs.

"Well, perhaps because in each case there were Islamic fundamentalists who wanted to see the more secular government toppled so they could install a more Islamic government?"

You think Egypt has a secular government???????????????????? Tell that one to the Copts. The dictator Mubarak has been on a jihad against indigenous Eastern Christianity since the day he hooked up with Nasser and we've made sure he could get away with it. As I said before, the Copts I know are excited about this uprising and have confidence in the future. If they thought an Egyptian Khomeini was on the way, they wouldn't feel that way.

You asked: Egypt will be set back 100 years. Anyone ask if the women will still be able to attend schools?

Am I the Only One Troubled By Cairo Street Scenes?

First, view these photos of Cairo University graduates in 1959, 1978, 1995, and 2004. Clearly, there is a progression—a regression really, in terms of women’s rights. Former feminist gains have, increasingly, been washed away.
