I guess the average American does not think “what if” when they travel abroad.....I always tend to have a “plan B” in place...or an alternate route of “escape” if you will......I can not say how I would act were I in Cairo now...since I am not there...but I do think, if possible, I would rent a car and drive toward Libya or Jordan.......before they turn to chit too.

That mindset of not thinking ahead is exactly what I can’t comprehend. I don’t obsess over it, but it’s always there. Maybe it’s because I’m an ex-sailor who’s married to a former Marine. ;)
