Slouching implies she is unhappy and sloppy. Plus it will make you unhappy and sloppy. Is the opposite of putting your best foot forward and confidence even if it is ginned up confidence...better than nothing

Slouching implies she is unhappy and sloppy.

I've always associated it with a lack of confidence. Recently, however, I've noted an increase in the number of younger girls sporting the "slouch" and "low hanging head" look...almost as if they think it is attractive.
