Well, what do you expect? The "explosion in a hardware store" look has been around for better than two decades. EIAHS guys meet EIAHS gals, get together, fall in love, marry, have kids (in no particular order) and the kids grow up. The EIAHS parents often retain their "look", while the kiddies don't necessarily adopt it ... and the result is pictured upthread. She looks saner than her dad. Looks may, of course, be deceiving.

But definitely kids who are incapable of studying
Incapable of work in a normal workplace
Kids who will be stuck living at home with ma and pa taking care of them for decades

She claims to have pursued him because he was a shy kid. Some girls are into that, on the theory that "still waters run deep" or some such. It often works out well ... Shy Kid turns out to have a lot more going for him than appearances suggest, and he turns out to be a great boyfriend (or husband).

Other times ...

Not so much.

This one turned out to be a violent psycho ... and she claims to have ditched him (wise move) for that reason.
