For the record:
One veteran Democratic operative, who blames overheated rhetoric for the shooting, said President Barack Obama should carefully but forcefully do what his predecessor did.

“They need to deftly pin this on the tea partiers,” said the Democrat. “Just like the Clinton White House deftly pinned the Oklahoma City bombing on the militia and anti-government people.”

Another Democratic strategist said the similarity is that Tucson and Oklahoma City both “take place in a climate of bitter and virulent rhetoric against the government and Democrats.”

This Democrat said that the time had come to insist that Republicans stand up when, for example, a figure such as Fox News commentator Glenn Beck says something incendiary.

Good luck with that. I don’t think Obama personally can touch this because of his long-standing associations with domestic terroists himself, unless he wants to dredge all that up (not to mention attending a racist church for 20 years). How many times did Billy the Bomber visit the White House since he became POTUS?

By the way, Obama can’t get away with the “he’s just a professor who lives in the neighborhood” schtick again. Bill and Bernadine also babysit Obama’s kids.

...

Bill Ayers (1968): “Kill all the rich people! Break up their cars and apartments! Bring the revolution home, kill your parents - that’s where it’s really at!”

1969 - Ayers attempted to extort money ($20,000) from the Vietnam Moratorium Committee. When a member of the Moratorium group asked Bill Ayers what he really wanted, “To kill all rich people,” Ayers responded. When another peace activist pointed out that Ayers himself came from wealth, he answered: “Bring the war home. Kill your parents.”

1969 (December 27 to 31) – Weathermen hold a “War Council” meeting in Flint, MI. Bernardine Dohrn comments about the Charles Manson-led “Sharon Tate - LaBianca Murders” “Dig It! First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, and then they put a fork in pig Tate’s belly! Wild!
