Ted Nugent: I love Palin but I couldn’t vote for her right now
Hot Air ^ | 1/6/11 | Allahpundit

Dude, I think we just found our keynote speaker for RINOcon.

“(Palin’s) coming from the street, she’s coming from the we-the-people rank-and-file, she makes sense when she talks, she says all the right things, she’s sincere, she’s knowledgeable , she’s articulate, she’s damn good-looking, plus she kills moose, how can you go wrong?” Nugent gushed.

However, when Cooper pressed Nugent on whether Palin would make a good president, Nugent balked.

“It’s too early to tell. Right know, if we had a vote, I couldn’t vote for Sarah Palin. And I love her. I love her madly, and I respect her.”

I never thought I’d say this but now I’m honestly curious to know who the Nuge is backing in 2012. He’s campaigned with her, he’s written fawning tributes to her — I figured he was a true blue Palinista come the primaries. What now? Is Uncle Ted a Pence supporter? Mitch Daniels? Everything I thought I knew about the world has been shattered.

McCain should have given her at least a month head start to study up prior to throwing her to the wolves.

The media will oppose and ridicule anyone who is not a member of the Washington elite. They view membership as the sole qualification for election. Sarah Palin has probably read and memorized more information useful for a President than 98% of Washington politicians. So let’s have a campaign and see if anyone can beat her. It’s interesting that so many people say she can’t win. That conclusion ignores the reality of the 2010 midterms. She couldn’t possibly have endorsed 47 Congressional candidates who went on to win their elections. Seems like her endorsed candidate for governor of New Mexico just eliminated an environmental agency in her first days in office. Couldn’t possibly do that.

They said Sarah couldn’t win her race to be Mayor, then it was impossible for her beat Frank Murkowski, a sitting governor in her own party. So the doubters must be right. She can’t get the nomination and she can’t beat Obama. Just watch.

Unless the last name is Thatcher, slim chance I’d be pushing a chick for prez.

Since I don’t think they should even be able to vote, what makes you think I’d want one as CIC.

Sarah would be doing a big disservice to the party if she runs right now. I would vote for Michele before I could vote for Palin. Palin is doing what she does best and the most good right now. I’m just wondering why I got ripped last week when I said the very same thing you did.

When are these anti-Palin jackasses going to figure out even if they CAN get another RINO nominated, they can't get them elected without us?

...and now WE have the same contempt for them that they had for O'Donnell, Palin, Toomey, and Bachman.

Give us the ball, or be prepared to lose in perpetuity

To be honest she doesn’t come across intelligent to me. She may be, but I don’t see it. Believe me, I’ve tried to envision her as president and i just can’t go there

There already is one. As evidenced by the 100 worshipful threads each day posted here by the cultists. Though in all honesty, they probably belong in the religion forum, under devotional

I wouldn’t be able to keep up on all the awesome Palin doings without you!

So thanks for keeping us updated on all things Palin! Keep up the good work.

I hadn’t heard about her show until you told me about it! It’s great.

Well you are entitled to your opinion, but I don’t agree with you at all. I don’t THINK we’re in trouble, I know we are. Ya’ll can beat me up here we need someone with a lot more int’l experience than Sarah Palin. She was a great govenor because she grew up there and new the players and could get her agenda done.
She doesn’t know all the players on the world stage and she’s gonna have a big problem with being sexually harassed and if she doesn’t go with it - guess what? They’ll get their revenge on America.

If I may, I think that you have been influenced by what the main stream media considers ‘intelligent’. To them, Al Gore, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, - are ‘intelligenet’. They considered George W. Bush, Dan Quayle, Ronald Reagan, as idiots. Jimmy Carter was smart, Sarah Palin is stupid. Don’t fall in to the trap. To me, a smart man, a wise man (or woman) knows that they do not know everything. They know that a more prudent course is that individuals should have the freedom to seek their own destinies, devoid of government intrusion. Ronald Reagan understood this. I believe that Sarah Palin does also. To my way of thinking, this makes here far superior to all the elitist ivy-league thinking in the world.

...and she’s gonna have a big problem with being sexually harassed...

That has to be one of the top three most absurd statements I've seen in my twelve years as a FReeper...

We may already be sunk.
