There’s little difference between the professional criminal class and the street hoods. They both want to rob you at gunpoint and boast how they’re doing it for our own good.

...spending taxpayers’ money like drunken sailors,...

Don't insult drunken sailors that way.

Just “allowed?” I would go further than just allowing guns to be carried everywhere. If the health care bill requiring individuals to buy personal insurance is Constitutional, then I say, use it to do something to reduce the injuries and death caused by violent criminals. Mandate that, for preserving their own and their family’s health, every individual must own a firearm and must carry at least one loaded firearm whenever they are in a public place.

Just like we now have police stops on the highway to check for driver’s license and auto insurance, let’s have police checks that everyone is armed, unless they are felons or have a medical impairment.

No, maybe it never will happen. But just the thought of it may give some liberals pause to think of what could happen if conservatives take over the machinery of the State.

On the other hand, if we can get some momentum going for it....

If our politicians continue to ignore the message the TEA Party yelled in their faces and the voters of 11/2010, a law won’t stop a lot of us from walking in statehouses across the US with not only guns, but guns a-blazing. We won’t be ignored and we won’t continue to offer our necks to those wolves in power.
