What’s with the axiom that whatever we lose can never be regained, and then some?
Is there any news story that you don’t post that ridiculous picture to?
Good grief already!
Did I miss something in grade school study of the Constitution about the federal government owning, auctioning and regulating the ether?
Did I miss an electron amendment?
Ah, it must be information flowing across state lines that invokes the commerce clause...
The new House of Representatives, like every House before it, controls the purse strings.
If the new GOP members have a spine, all they have to do is cease all funding for the FCC until they rescind this stupid ruling, which the courts already ruled against in the recent past.
Play hardball, GOP.
FCC chairman is a red. He has hired Free Press McChesney’s aid to be his FCC spokewoman, and has Mark Lloyd, another red, as the Internet Advisor/Czar.
This has to be investigated and exposed ASAP.
I just heard on the Mark Levin show (recorded earlier) that Jim Demint said he is going to fight this. That man is going to need alot of support even if its only through email.
dont they ever run out of legislation bombs ?
Next Congresses, For ‘11, For ‘12, And For Way Beyond: Overturn and never financially support ALL of this socialistic crap, always!

Sorry for repost.
This is the marxists wetdream...(please forgive my use of that but it seems most appropriate).
We’ve been weakened by many many years of Rinos and the ‘reaching across the aisle’.
Tonite there are problems with FR....There is no such thing as conincidences. Not when it comes to this administration.
I hope you are staying dry if you are there. Yes I’ve heard it’s very bad...I carry my tinfoil hat with me unfortunately. Cannot help but question but will try to be rational. (trying hard)
Liberals-Socialists are rightfully concerned that information exchanged on the internet may be leaning more towards the conservative side what stands to reason as I have my grave doubts that any one on the dole for government handouts is espousing conservative principles, neither are they too computer savvy or have the guts to come right out and say “Give me more of YOUR hard earned money” For this they need liberal politicians to do their bidding who in the process line their pockets.
We might as well follow right behind Venezuela
Venezuela tightens Internet regulation

CARACAS - Venezuela’s parliament approved tighter regulation of the Internet on Monday in the latest of a package of laws to entrench President Hugo Chavez’s socialist “revolution” before a new Assembly is sworn-in next month. Members of his ruling Socialist Party say the move brings South America’s top oil producer into line with international norms for policing the Web. But opposition politicians say it is aimed at stifling dissent.
It followed a more controversial vote by the National Assembly last week that will allow Chavez to bypass the next parliament and rule by decree for 18 months...the decision was denounced by furious opposition parties due to take 40 percent of seats in the Assembly beginning on January 5...
The Internet bill approved on Monday prohibits online content attacking “good customs,” disrespecting public officials or inciting violence against the president.
Many of Venezuela’s lively news forums operate without a moderator or editor filtering out extremist or vulgar content. But the bill has concerned some free speech activists, who have drawn comparisons with how China and Cuba police the Web.
Under the new regulations, all Internet traffic is supposed to pass through a single, government-controlled access point, stoking opposition fears about surveillance and censorship...
bump
Well of course. Control freaks hate free speech.
My point, however, was that which we lose is often deemed to be lost forever. I don’t get that thinking.
We’ll have to force them to.
I say we put a delegation of 300 patriots together, contact Rand Paul and Michele Bachmann, get our GOP ‘representatives’ together, and have a tete-a-tete with them. Make it crystal clear that we’re watching, and that we expect the FCC to not get a plugged nickel. And that we mean serious business. If they don’t, 2012 will be an electoral nightmare for the current crop of Republicans, like it is going to be for the democrats.
