Its easy to run all the way one way or the other on this but a couple od simple facts remain. Anarchist scumbag Assange couldn’t have published what he didn’t have.
Going after completely misses the real problem which is our own lax security.

Oh, there's more to it than that. The sexual degenerate who was encouraged to become part of an honorable force so long as he maintained the grand lie that he was not what he is—a sexual degenerate— degrades the force and makes room for the moral rot at the heart of traitors like the little thief of state secrets. And the democrap party wants these degenerates to be normalized as authorized to serve and increase their numbers in the force without restraining their degeneracy. We have reaped what was sown with the original DADT degradation of Integrity in the military.

I work around,(not with) all sorts of secret and super secret stuff.
The people I know that are actually in this stuff are VERY careful about guarding their work.
I don't believe one person could download all the documents he did without raising some red flags.
Electronic devices CAPABLE of recording are forbidden in these areas. Cell phones that take pictures are a violation of the first order. Perhaps he was given some space because no one wanted to be accused of being a homophobe.
