"each speaker came from a different perspective and had different opinions on the real killer"
As expected, each speaker had his own theory, and the only reason they agree with each other is because if the FBI is right about Ivins, then every conspiracy theorist and True Believer must be wrong.
After the first part of the seminar, a co-worker of Bruce Ivins' stood up and answered questions. John Ezzell became the center of attention - and apparently some very hostile questioning. (There are reports that Ezzell suffered a heart attack after the meeting, an attack severe enough to require immediate surgery.)
The final paragraph of the article is as follows:
"Despite some strong opinions from the panelists and audience members, the seminar itself never drew any conclusions as to Ivins' guilt or who the real attacker could have been. When Van de Velde asked Ezzell if he thought Ivins could have done it, Ezzell responded with a hesitant "possibly yes." "
The suggestion by a co-worker of Ivins' that Ivins could have done it probably didn't go over very well in a crowd of people with other theories about the case.
I'm hoping that a recording of the meeting will be made available - particularly Dr. Ezzell's Q&A and the last scheduled part of the seminar, the part where some UCLA experts were supposed to review "the lessons learned" and the "broader implications" of what was said.
i believe that the Anthrax letters were in fact part of the Terrorist plot of 9-11. The first anthrax victim was a News Paper owner in Florida. Whose wife rented an apt to Atta and the other terrorist. Later they had a woman in New York mail the anthrax in New Jersey! She later died from the anthrax!
I know such an admission is against all known laws of the internet, but I have absolutely no opinion, theory, or idea who the anthrax mailer was.
People, Ivins did it, the govt says so. Bunch of ‘thraxers is what you are. )
Bruce Ivins didn’t send the anthrax, but he did write all of Shakespaere’s plays and a few of the sonnets.
And he launched a missile off the coast of San Diego a couple of weeks ago.
I suspect that the anthrax attacks were part of the 9/11 attacks.
They were too close in time to 9/11 and I don’t believe in coincidences.
If the Ames strain was in Canada or Sweden then it was in Russia and Iraq. Biologists ship each other bacterial strains all the time.
Also, Atta was seeking out crop dusters. If he was trying to get a crop duster he probably already had something to put in one, right?
I knew Bruce Ivins. I have absolutely no reason to believe that he was behind any of this—he was a nice, friendly man.
I’ve always thought that the FBI zeroed in on him for much the same reason they initially zeroed in on Steven Hatfill—they need a scapegoat. They don’t like to spend years on a case and never find a suspect. And now that Ivins can no longer defend himself, it’s perfect for them, they can close the case.
