We have got to get control of these things.

At my church, we are having a protest because the Thanksgiving Day Mass is going to be bilingual. The priest has ignored requests to change that and instead published a call to “tolerance, acceptance and welcoming” of Latinos in last week’s bulletin.

Thanksgiving Day is an American holiday which the Mexicans don’t even celebrate and we will be forced to listen to the readings in Spanish and that awful, nasal blast your ears out music.

I’m frankly getting a little tired of the whole “multi-cultural” crap with the Catholic Church, who supports wholesale amnesty. I’m tired of hearing mass in three different languages. On Midnight Mass at Easter this year, the gospel describing Christ’s resurrection was done completely in Tagalog, no English at all.

I wonder if the Episcopalians will have me.

It is apparent your priest is not showing "tolerance, acceptance and welcoming" to the members of his congregation who simply want to celebrate a traditional (and unique) American observance.

One-way "tolerance, acceptance and welcoming" is in reality "coercion".
