Yep...not surprised. We were on the biggest boat, Oasis of the Seas last April, and it was outstanding. Would definiytely recommend.
For the price, NCL's Spirit of America does Hawaii best. It is the ONLY AMERICAN REGISTERED Cruise ship these days with (mostly) American crew.. Four Islands, one week, and more time in port to see and do more stuff. You only need to get there, but with TSA, that is problematic in itself.
I am working up a 2011 Caribbean Golf Challenge right now, with 10-12 day cruises from Baltimore and NYC. The price is great, you get to see a bunch of neat islands, and play some Champ courses - Royal St Kitts, Mahogany Run (St Thomas), Cedar Valley (Antigua), and others offer challenges and views. Floating hotels which wake up in a different place every day are the best vacations we sell... and don't forget the food!
The new NCL Epic has the feel of a small Amusement park. They have Second City, Blue Man Group and Cirque d' Soleil for just some of the onboard entertainment. Rock climbing, water slides, and the Villas Complex make it one of my faves! Plus, every outside room has a balcony. The rooms have curved walls like this and some great amenities
Here's a "PLAIN" outside stateroom.!
