Concur. Or Crisp could have easily backpeddled and said that the issues affecting FL (oil spill, jobs etc) were so important that he was seeking a 2nd term as governor.

He could have thrown McCollum under the bus and gotten away with it, because he would have been a lock for re-election.

I have said so myself. He should of bowed gracefully upon his loss in the primary, struck a deal with the Pub party of FL, supported Rubio(senate) and Scott(governor) for breezey wins, then run against the idiot Dem Senator in 2012 - with full support from Floridians. But noooooooooo!
