He was likely getting a thousand bucks a day and more on a pretty regular schedule.

The most interesting aspect of the entire episode is the absolute stupidity of the man.

He was caught red handed and he had no place else to go.

Take it to Court and roll the dice for that one in a million chance that some Juror will stymie the process.

His Lawyer stated in closing arguments that Turner only kept 200.00 dollars and the guy who bribed him kept the other 800.00. With a defense attorney like that who needs a prosecutor.
