"Shove it!"
That's the shocking kiss-off that Rhode Island's Democratic candidate for governor gave President Obama yesterday when he found out the campaigner-in-chief wouldn't be endorsing him.
"He can take his endorsement and really shove it," a furious Frank Caprio said in a radio interview just hours before Obama touched down in Rhode Island to fund-raise and campaign for congressional hopefuls there.
After his campaign said last week that Caprio would be honored to have Obama's backing, the Democrat was singing a different tune yesterday.
"What I'm saying to President Obama very clearly is, I'll wear as a badge of honor and a badge of courage that he doesn't want to endorse me as a Democrat," he said. "Because I am a different kind of Democrat."
Caprio called Obama's rebuff "Washington insider politics at its worst."
Caprio also fumed that Obama has ignored Rhode Islanders, who are suffering under one of the highest unemployment rates in the country.
"Now he's coming into Rhode Is land treating us like an ATM machine," Caprio said.

I can’t wait until the real cat fight begins.
Redistricting probably doesn’t matter in RI. So not a big or important governorship at the national level.
Sadly, if this guy is actually elected, he would probably vote with Obama has if this snub never happened.
I guess this Caprio guy did not take the Communist oath.
If Caprio were a “different kind of Democrat”, he wouldn’t want Obama’s endorsement.
This was done with Obongo’s OK. Anyone who believes the WH didn’t approve this, or that this moron actually feels this way are crazy. ALL libtards LIE! Period! Nice fake, but I don’t buy it!
Rhode Islanders have two Democrats running for Governor!!!
In 2008, Chafee — who was one of the most liberal Republicans in the Senate — endorsed Obama for president over fellow GOP senator John McCain.

So Michael Steele was “amused” at Obama not endorsing his fellow Democrat. I guess he’s also amused at the Republicans who aren’t endorsing Christine O’Donnell...
in-fighting among the unifying democrats - I can’t believe it - the POWER OF CHANGE - is loosing it’s grip...
Someone should have predicted this - we should have seen this coming - they get in power - and then turn on each other as they back stab each other...
Never again America - should any democrat be elected!!!
“....treating us like an ATM machine”
I like that. Last campaign ad, anyone?
Even Democrat politicians have said that Obama treat us like an ATM machine.
“After his campaign said last week that Caprio would be honored to have Obama’s backing,”
And he said that the reason he was so angry was because Obama ignored his state after severe flooding they had. SO why did the campaign change it’s tune over the week?
hmmm.....politics
Still gotta’ have some sympathy for the few remaining conservative Rhode Islanders. I spent many years in that state. Aquidneck Island is beautiful.
President will be caught in a SH*T storm of his own making come Nov. 2

This country was supposed to be about excellance, not quotas.
