He tried to Freep an online poll, at work.

Drew says "let's not pretend this isn't a bad thing," but it's just not. Miller was an employee (part-time) and it was the employer's policy that computers not be used for political purposes. Okay -- he violated the employer's rules... but what he did can barely even be termed "for political processes." He went to four machines because they had different IPs and voted on them all to Freep a meaningless online poll.

yes, he wanted someone to win on an online poll, so he voted several times since different pc have different ip addresses. Remember this online poll is an equivalent to voting at cnn online polls. Its meaningless to win online polls but some people enjoy doing it

The reason Miller has been pushed up to the Democrats "Public Enemy #1 is because tearing him down is presumably an effective attack upon Sarah Palin. Remember this FReepers, its an attack upon the Tea Party, its an attack upon us, granted not everyone thinks alike, quite a few don't like Sarah Palin, well its still a free society. And we should speak our minds. But Lisa is spending Alaskans monies to wage a war against Miller. Lisa is the worst of the RINOS that I have seen, sadly she is in my home state. But I will gain satisfaction in adding her name to all the others that will be voted out soon.

'retired' judges retain their bench authority in many jurisdictions. In fact, Constitutionally, a federal judge is a federal judge until he dies, or is impeached or removed. Federal courts currently rely on 'retired' judges to keep the backlog managable.

I understand that the situation is ugly. I knew the background as well.

We need either squeaky clean candidates, or candidates that say: "Here's the thing...."

Because the press is NEVER going to love us, no matter what.

I am making it a point to bring up something new, I believe Florida is trying to pass whats called the "Sore Loser Law' to prevent such an event from this happening, its not right and takes advantage of loopholes. The democrats will probably start using this tactic all across the country, this election is a trial for them. If Murkowski wins then expect almost any election to follow the same course...including a presidential election.
