Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee rushed to the defense of political commentator Juan Williams on Thursday after he was fired by NPR for comments about Muslims.
Palin and Huckabee both, like Williams, paid Fox News contributors launched into the publicly funded radio network.
"NPR defends 1st Amendment Right, but will fire u if u exercise it," Palin tweeted. "Juan Williams: u got taste of Left's hypocrisy, they screwed up firing you."

Oh give me a damn break!
Is this the best criticism you can come up with?
Short cuts on Twitter? Really?
Will wonders never cease.
Most Americans know they may have to help defend a plane from hitting the White House, Capitol building etc, these days.
Sadly I’m afraid almost half of Americans on a plane would say “Let’s be tolerant and talk nice and maybe they’ll land the plane and let us off before they fly into a building.” I’ve read there were many like this on the plane that went down in PA even after they knew planes hat hit the twin towers.
All I know is on many occasions there’ve been TOO MANY M....F..... MUSLIMS ON THE M.....F.....PLANE!
Thank you Sarah. Thanks for standing with a good man who showed great courage...
That being said, Juan Williams is a good man with an honest heart. I disagree with 99% of his ideology, but it does not keep me from recognizing his character. NPR can go to hell.
Sarah means it... huckster is pandering.

No where near the best actually, however, the poster had a good point.
I have seen it all now.

NPR defends 1st Amendment Right,Only if you agree with them.
What point?
That she should be something the MSM wants her to be instead of being herself?
The point was not only NOT valid, it was pretty stupid.
In an interview with Juan, he said that the person who fired him said the order came from above...perhaps their magnanimous donor.
She already has John Mclaims stink on her..
Poor girl likes to play in filthy places..
Seems to me Williams as making the same point that Shirley Sherrod was making ... that he had these feelings and he struggles to set them aside.
lol omg whatevar!
rav·ish/ˈraviSH/Verb
1. Seize and carry off (someone) by force.
2. Force (a woman or girl) to have sexual intercourse against her will.
That is a correct assessment.
I’ve flown twice in my life, and the second time was about a good 18 years before 9/11, 2001.
After seeing that, and other crashes such as the concord and the value jet crash, I really don’t want to leave the ground.
But, that being said, that is absolutely no chance I would leave the ground with a muslim anywhere near me.
Mara has already been reprimanded for taking political sides when NPR is strictly unbiased. Do I even need a sarcasm tag?
You must not twit. That is conventional twitter language.
And it’s why I don’t twit.
Caspers: note to self—if criticizing another posters grammar be very careful not to make a huge grammatical mistake yourself. (hah)
“Oh give me a damn break! Is this the best criticism you can come up with? Oh give me a damn break! Is this the best criticism you can come up with?”
It’s a bit like driving around in a car with trash from McDonald’s dating back to 1987 in the backseat. I can’t say I’m thoroughly impressed.
I’m not sure exactly why you’re posting that. Ravish is the exact word I was looking for. Or perhaps you think they handle her with kid gloves?
“Get a life Casper - thats Twitter for you!”
Says a guy who actually hangs around Twitter enough to characterize it.
It’s a waste of time and brain cells. But you keep telling me to get a life.
