Occidental College highly likely have Obama records that show Obama's birth somewhere else besides Hawaii as he was likely enrolled as a foreign student. "Inasmuch as the subpoena appears to be valid on its face, the College will have no alternative but to comply with the subpoena absent a court order instructing otherwise."

Within hours, Woocher contacted Kreep regarding the issue, telling him, "It will likely not surprise you to hear that President-elect Obama opposes the production of the requested records.

The COLB is what she would get and its what Obama gets if he requests a certified copy of his “birth certificate.”

No that is not my belief. I believe Obama to be a natural born citizen because officials of the state of Hawai’i who have actually seen his vital records have declared him to be a natural born citizen and judges and justices who have reviewed legal briefs submitted by many defendants in many civil suits have also declared him to be a natural born citizen. Many of the lawsuits challenging Obama’s eligibility don’t even name Obama as a defendant so he did nothing to block them and that includes lawsuits that have gone all the way to the Supreme Court of the United States.
It isn’t Obama’s fault that plaintiffs’ attorneys have failed to produce a plaintiff that would be granted standing to file suit on Obama’s eligibility.

For a few examples: Ankeny v The Governor of Indiana, Lightfoot v Bowen, Beverly v FEC, Craig v US, Donofrio v Wells, Rhodes v MacDonald, Schneller v Cortes, Wrotnowski v Bysiewicz, U.S. v Lakin, or Martin v Lingle.

Fraud and election fraud are CRIMES. There are no issues of standing in the criminal justice system. If there is evidence of a crime having been committed, a prosecutor indicts the alleged perpetrator.
Nixon got in trouble over Watergate. Indictments were handed down.
Reagan got in trouble over Iran-Contra. Criminal indictments were handed down.
Clinton got in trouble over Whitewater. Criminal indictments were handed down.

Gee, I haven’t noticed even the slightest hestitation on the part of Congressional Republicans (including those most likely to be granted standing to sue: Senator McCain and Governor Palin) to blast Obama with both rhetorical barrels any and every time they so choose. Presidents with low approval ratings get blasted by the loyal opposition, it’s an old American political tradition that only George Washington managed to escape.

I think you just like to make excuses. I also think that Sarah Palin called her fellow Republican Governor Linda Lingle of Hawai’i and asked her if that birth certficate is for real (Governor Palin asked Governor Lingle to give one of her nominating speeches at the Republican National Convention). I’m betting that Governor Lingle told Governor Palin to stay away from the natural born citizen issue because it’s a set up and Governor Palin put the word out.

However none of the hypothetical political ranglings above would matter if there were simply to be a grand jury investigation of Obama for election fraud or felony fraud.

I believe that Linda Lingle, the Republican Governor of Hawai’i has warned members of the Republican National Committee to stay away from the birth certificate issue and Republican elected politicians are doing just that.
Lingle wants to run for the US Senate, there is no way she would jettison her own political future to back Obama without absolute proof of her statements on the birthplace issue.
She is the only national politician of any party to name Obama’s birth hospital.

It looks like you haven’t been following the actual events of this issue very closely.

Governor Lingle ordered her Director of Health (Chiyome Fukino, M.D.) and her Registar of Vital Statistics (Alvin T. Onaka, Ph.D.) to go and personally view Obama’s long form, vault copy, Certificate of Live Birth back in October of 2008, before Obama was elected.

Those Lingle Administration officials then reported their findings to the Governor. It was on the basis of their report that several months ago in a radio interview, Governor Lingle named Kapi’olani Medical Center in Honolulu as Obama’s birth hospital.

Nah, that’s not what happened.
The Governor had the two state officials who have control of all vital records go together to check the Obama record and report back to her. They did that and she reported to the public what they found.

There is no reason for a “document expert” to examine a state of Hawai’i produced vital record and what would be the motivation for a Republican administration in Hawai’i to assist Obama?
