Lately the Fox News Channel overnight program Red Eye has offered just a plethora of media criticism much of it dead-spot on. Last week during this his Gregalogue segment, Gutfeld took on the so-called Rally to Restore Sanity offered up by Comedy Central hosts Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert.
On the Sept. 29 broadcast of his show Red Eye, Gutfeld responded to President Barack Obamas comments about Fox News he made during a recent interview.
So President Obama was just interviewed in Rolling Stone magazine -- that thinning pamphlet for our country's dwindling supply of pony-tailed pensioners, Gutfeld said. When asked about Fox News, this is what our Commander-in-Chief had to say.

LOVE Gutfeld. Far funnier than Stewart, Colbert and others who pass as comedians (or news anchors).

Red Eye is the only "news show" I have ever consistently watched.
It's really one of the best things on TV period

I’m still waiting for failed actor Jon-Leibowicz-Stuart to say something funny, although it is entertaining when he whines to one of his guests about trying to get a part in their latest chick-flick.

The word “statesman” will have to be purged from the English language due to the reign of the most classless example of a leader in American history.

"...that thinning pamphlet for our country's dwindling supply of pony-tailed pensioners," #1, thats HILARIOUS to me because it's someone saying exactly what I've envisioned about the typical rolling Stone reader for years. When I think of a rolling stone reader I picture Tommy Chong wearing a serious set of bifocals, pony tail all greasy, thin and gray, saying in that stoner voice of his, "Wow man, this magazine is like cool man"
and #2 (well, rolling stone does have many similarities to #2, but I digress) rolling stone used to be ALL about anti-establishment....and now they interview the TOTUS?
How freaking square can a hipster mag get?

Rolling Stone magazine -- that thinning pamphlet for our country's dwindling supply of pony-tailed pensioners
Love it. Great comments from Gutfeld. I think 'Red Eye' is one of the most entertaining shows on TV. I tape it because it comes on so late but I watch it nearly every day. There is no other show that's as hip and conservative. Everyone should give it a try. It's worth getting Cable or satellite just for this show alone.
By the way Rolling Stone has always been a far left mag for stoners and the like. It isn't fit to wrap fish in.

Obamas like a sports team who owns the ref, the fans and the field, but refuses to play until the kid in the tenth row stops chewing gum. It is no surprise that they think their performance in the polls is caused by someone other than themselves and the incredible expanding government. Brats and tenured elitists will never admit they are not universally adored.

I love Greg and RedEye. Its unfortunate that its on so late. If it were to go up against Jon Stewart, his show would lose half its audience (when people discovered it!)
I bet a lot of college kids would start watching RedEye, and it would have a big impact of their politics and way of thinking. Right now in College, its "Cool to be a Liberal." I think RedEye can change that!
